The Pelham Beautification Board is seeking a new name for “Pelham Pride Day,” an annual city festival scheduled for July 13 this year.

“The new name needs to reflect the future of this city event,” the city’s website says. Pelham Pride Day features booths from a variety of Pelham restaurants and businesses, entertainment, plus kids activities including free ice skating.

This year’s citywide event will be held at the Pelham Civic Complex on Saturday, July 13 from noon until 5 p.m.

Residents have until Feb. 28 to submit their idea for a new name on the Pelham city website at pelhamonline.com/rename-pelham-pride-day. You can also give your ideas to Paula Holly by emailing her at pholly@pelhamonline.com or calling her at 205-620-6403.
