I-65 NB now open in Calera | News

CALERA, AL (WBRC)- I-65 North is now open after a crash in the northbound lanes of I-65 temporarily closed the interstate.

State troopers said three vehicles, including a travel trailer, wrecked Tuesday afternoon at mile marker 237 in Calera.

While the interstate was closed, state troopers diverted all northbound traffic off of I-65 at exit 234 onto County Road 87, then to U.S. Highway 31 North.

Northbound motorists then re-entered I-65 at exit 238.

Thankfully, state troopers say no one was hurt in the crash.
